[Charlotte & John's Quarters]

After placing a now sleeping Luna in her crib, Charlotte had quietly stepped away so as not to disturb her daughter. Keeping near enough to hear her if she woke, the Admiral's wife, moved into the living area and was seated on one of the sofas, with a drink when the doors opened and her husband walked in.

She could see that he was tired as he opened the top of his tunic and smiled at his comment.

" That's true, we've been lucky in that respect and it's the same with us having Luna, who is currently fast asleep in her crib". Charlotte replied as she got up to greet him.

John yawned as he was feeling his exhaustion he walked to the sofa and sat down

“I am sorry I been so busy the past week and barley able to see you this transition here has been heck” John stated

[John & Charlotte's Quarters]

It appeared that their daughter wasn't the only one who needed sleep as John yawned before walking over to the sofa and Charlotte soon sat back down beside him. The last week had been exhausting for both of them, not only with the new ship but also adjusting to life with a newborn, yet appreciated the apology for him not being around as much as she would of liked him to be.

She wasn't going to lie it had been emotional, tiring and rewarding at the same time, her hormones were still all over the place, but she had gotten through it, when he had been around.

" I bet it has and its not the just the ship either, I've appreciated it when you have been around, because otherwise, I would of been more of an emotional mess, trying to adjust to motherhood, so you're forgiven".

John eyes closed for a second almost falling asleep then looking at Charlotte for. Moment he smiled

“At least when were out of Dock we can conveniently ignore the comms from people and actually relax” John said with an evil grin

At first she wondered if he had heard her or not, especially as he closed his eyes. However managed to smile as her husband then looked at her. When he then suggested wickedly what they could do once they were out of dock, her smile became a grin.

" That's true we can and I like your idea, now let's make the most of it, before Luna wakes up".

Josh let out a grin.  Josh tapped a button on the command chair.  "Attention to the crew of the Gibson both on the ship and off.  Prepare to depart within the hour. All hands report to your designated department heads for briefings and assignments. There will be a senior officer meeting in two hours. Shepard out."

[Harriman's Quarters]

John had finally finished unpacking and arranging his quarters, he would have been don by now if he had not spent the last day and half in the security office and the armory. Since this was a new ship John had to make sure all the security systems were up to specs and that every weapon on the ship was accounted for even the ones that only he and the senior  officers knew about.

[On KDF Rotaran]

KnodwI was getting his personal items gathered up.  When a fellow family member entered the quarters.  The two talked a while, when the captain commed in,

"We have reached the rendezvous point.", he said.

KnodwI acknowledged the message and went to the bridge to await the Gibson to arrive.
